Gliese 581 d is a planet found orbiting its faint star Gliese 581 in the constellation Libra. The planet orbits the far edge of its parent star's habitable zone and may host life even though its a Super-Earth.
It is believed to be tidally locked, with a perpetual day side and a permanent night side.
