The Jovian Moons, or Galilean moons, are the four major natural satellites of the planet Jupiter. They are relatively easy targets for terraforming (besides Io) for they are closer to the Sun compared to the other moons of the gas giants, and also some of the largest. These moons were first discovered by Galileo on January 7, 1610.
